Posture & The Pose

How do your postural patterns affect your alignment in a yoga pose? Find out by attending this workshop! Each student attending receives individual assessment, hands-on body work (optional) and ball-rolling strategies to find “home” in their body. Yoga poses are taken before and after to feel the impact of the work. This workshop aligns with Anatomy Trains ‘Three Series’ framework for structural integration bodywork. This workshop WILL NOT flow like a normal yoga class but instead, discussion and individual assessment and myofacial work will happen between each pose.

The workshop is three sessions:
Session One: Feet to hips
Session Two: Core, breath, shoulders and arms
Session Three: The spine and overall postural integration
